This is more of an experimental release for me, I made this album after experiencing masterful Disintegration Loops by William Basinski in full, it made me want to do something similarly unorthodox.

my record player that has been broken for a while now has got a dodgy needle that slips out of place a lot, picks up static and it even gets stuck on a particular section of the record surface. so i had an idea, i searched through some of my inherited records and picked out two classical albums, i stuck the needle down and waited for it to get stuck and loop on a section then i would record it dry. i converted the recordings to my mac and then changed their pitch, added reverb and slowed the loops down into two ambient tracks which have a very decayed static sound to them. and yes, that means this record contains no synth whatsoever, it's all just vinyl samples.
